Villa Centro Storico is the collective name for two restored residences within the medieval walls of Lucignano: Villa Panoramica and Appartamento Monache.
The restoration was undertaken by Stuart (Australian) and Catherine (English), both experienced designers, who preserved the historic fabric while adapting the properties for modern guest comfort.
Stuart and Catherine first owned property in Lucignano in 2010 and have been visiting regularly since. Over the years, they have developed a wide network of local contacts, including tour guides, artisans, chefs and others who can enhance guest experiences, from cultural tours to cooking classes.
Guests may stay in the eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom (all ensuite) Villa Panoramica or the three-bedroom, two-bathroom (one ensuite) Appartamento Monache. The properties may also be booked together to create an eleven-bedroom residence suitable for larger groups or extended families.

The properties are located in the heart of Lucignano, officially recognised as one of the I Borghi più belli d’Italia — the most beautiful villages of Italy. From your base here, you can explore the Tuscan countryside and enjoy the village’s cafés, restaurants, artisan shops, bakeries, supermarkets, butchers and banks — all within walking distance. On-site parking is available for guests.

On arrival in Lucignano, our local property manager will meet you personally. Fluent in Italian and English, she is available throughout your stay to assist with your needs.
Privacy and security
Both Villa Panoramica and Appartamento Monache offer private and secure accommodation within the historic walls of Lucignano. The properties are fully enclosed, giving guests exclusive use of gardens and terraces.
For 2026 bookings, the gardens and pool are available to guests of both properties; however, bookings are not concurrent. From 2027, Villa Panoramica will have exclusive access to the gardens and pool, while Appartamento Monache will operate independently via its own separate entrance.
