Villa Centro Storico is the collective name for two restored residences within the medieval walls of Lucignano: Villa Panoramica and Appartamento Monache.
The restoration was undertaken by Stuart (Australian) and Catherine (English), both designers, who preserved the historic fabric while adapting the properties for modern guest comfort.
Stuart and Catherine first owned property in Lucignano in 2011 and have been visiting regularly ever since. Their association with the village has given them a strong knowledge of the area, its community and the many experiences available to guests, from cultural tours and cooking classes to local dining, artisan activities and other experiences.
Guests may stay in the eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom (all ensuite) Villa Panoramica or the three-bedroom, two-bathroom (one ensuite) Appartamento Monache. The properties may also be booked together to create an eleven-bedroom residence suitable for larger groups or extended families.

Villa Panoramica and Apartamento Monache are located in the heart of Lucignano, officially recognised as one of the I Borghi più belli d’Italia — the most beautiful villages of Italy. From this central location, guests can enjoy the village’s cafés, restaurants, artisan shops, bakeries, supermarkets, butchers and banks, all within walking distance, while walks into the surrounding Tuscan countryside are also easily accessible on foot.

Stuart and Catherine want every guest to feel welcome and comfortable during their stay.
On arrival in Lucignano, the local property manager will meet guests personally. Fluent in Italian and English, she can assist with the practical aspects of the stay and help with local needs and arrangements.
Additional experiences and services can also be arranged through local contacts and concierge services, according to guests’ requirements.
Privacy and space
Located within the historic walls of Lucignano, both properties offer privacy and space close to the village’s cafés, restaurants and amenities. Villa Panoramica is an eight-bedroom residence with generous living areas, a private pool, gardens and terraces. Appartamento Monache is a spacious three-bedroom residence with its own living spaces and private outdoor area.
For larger groups, the two properties can be booked together, creating an eleven-bedroom residence with multiple living and outdoor areas, providing the space and flexibility for groups and extended families to stay together.

Guests can stroll the winding medieval streets, admire historic buildings and architecture, and experience the village’s vibrant community traditions.
